Not a blog, but Ran Prieur [http://ranprieur.com/] had some similar ideas to you. From his about me page:

"I make all major life decisions to minimize stress. I'm preemptively retired and independently poor, dodging rent through housesitting and couch-surfing. In the winter I generally stay with Patricia in Pittsburgh, and in spring and summer I usually have long housesits in Spokane, and go up to work on land I bought in 2004. I don't plan to live there full time unless I have to, but I'm very slowly building a cabin out of indigenous materials and growing fruit trees."

Jacob,
I was just going to suggest that you ask Brooke for a copy of her insanely long blogroll and work your way from there.

Looks like she has already commented.

I agree with you about the exercise - totally. When I go to the Middle East, after a run in 120 degrees, usually it takes at least an hour to cool down enough to take a shower - otherwise I'm still sweating through and after the shower. But once I acclimate to exercising there, I cool down a lot faster.

I read way too many blogs - I'm sure you've seen from my stupidly long blogroll, but I don't want to miss good posts, and I've subscribed to each blog because I've seen something special in a posting. Most of the blogs are PF-related.

I've also been looking a lot at verdant.net lately. It's interesting, a little sensationalist, but still has some good points. I think you'd like it.

I check the frugal hacker blogroll a lot for ideas. I see you have the badge at right. I find that's a lot better for my frugal likes than PFBlogs.org, simply because I abhor reading about investing.

I would like you to have a look at my blog and consider adding me to your blogroll. My blog deals with my personal finances and getting out of debt.

If you go to the PFBlogs.org you can find lots of blogs about people's finances that relate to your blog. Browse through it and see who you like.

I would also like to recommend the following:
Blogging my Way out of Debt
No Credit Needed blog
We're In Debt
Give me back My Five Bucks

These are all on my blogroll and I read them every day.
