"Nailing" cable to the outside of an RV?? Just when you think you've heard and seen it all ... We never had cable - we put up with snowy TV and videos but that was because we only stayed in one spot for indeterminate amounts of time. We were very mobile :) As for parking the thing, we had some of our hugest fights during that process.... Funny that. As for the black water, pour some chemical in there and you can use the toilet to your heart's content. You can always dump it when you're connected - those tanks hold a lot. My son was talking about buying a travel trailer when he gets back from Iraq and parking it at the beach as we once did when he was little. This will allow for cheap, fun living while he's making it through med school. Fabulous idea. Son, when can I move in?

My parents used to take us camping with a travel trailer and when they got to the campsite it was time for the kids to disappear because there would be lots of yelling, trying to get that trailer backed up. Yikes...Thanks for bringing up bad childhood memories:)

Don't you have an outside connection for the cable? Mine does. Why did it have to go thru the window?
