My wallet used to be a little plastic bag where I put my stuff. It used to last some months until I replace it. Now I don't even use wallet, just take with some money and my bank card, protected in a plastic casing so I don't break it when I sit down. I don't have any insurance except the one I provide myself, by having a healthy lifestyle. I had spent some years also learning about how to take care of myself without costly chemical medicine when I get sick, and how to avoid getting sick. I usually don't even carry my ID card, as everybody knows almost everybody in my little city. Only when I travel I take it with me.

Hi Jacob,

I'm glad you enjoyed my piece on the merits of smaller houses & thanks for sharing it with your readers.

It's nice to read someone else's experiences in striving for early retirement.

@ Nicole - It only takes a few years of work. I'm presenting some numbers tomorrow.

@ Ryan - Yes, I can probably pay my way out of the hassle (or spend a lot of time which I don't really have figuring it out), but currently I wouldn't be earning enough to justify the cost in time or money.

Thanks for including a link to my post about not buying anything for a year. :-)

Crazy re: how difficult it is to do business where you live. I don't think I checked with any local entities. I just created a corporation, got state and federal tax IDs, etc.

Can a CPA help you get started faster/easier?

Hi Jacob,

I was very happy to see you point out my piece as one of your favorites.

After reading your About me, it's safe to say we share similar beliefs in the world of personal finance.

I only hope to one day reach the success and financial freedom you've attained.

Thanks and please visit again.
