@brauhster - Tough to say, I my output is about 80% of the probloggers, I write about 5-6 posts per week. Also, I don't spend a whole lot of time editing and making the posts look pretty. What you see it typically the first draft. I rarely edit or move paragraphs around. If you catch a post right after I publish it you might even notice grammatical errors or copyediting errors, which I fix when I subsequently see them. IOW writing a blog post takes less than an hour, closer to half that. So well-crafted, no ... but I think I can say that many posts are somewhat original without sounding conceited.

My source of inspiration is described here

Godt Nytar, Jacob! Your posts are consistently good, so the recap is a handy way to see the "big picture." I am looking forward to your further insights in 2010.

@Ademac - Maybe "best" is exaggerating by a bit. I should probably change the title to "Awesome posts of 2009" to downgrade the adjective superlatives a bit 8-) Incidentally, your comment looks suspiciously like some of the comments on previous best posts posts ;-)

I use these lists to make it easier to find posts I may want to refer back to the in the future, so the main criteria for exclusion is whether it was timely. These lists seem popular for the reason that some do not read all the posts and thus having a long list makes it easier to go back and read the missed issues. It also saves you from having to ignore weekly roundups.

Rescind my previous statement. I went back and read the post again. I missed the line " it serves more as a roundup than as a statement of value"

My bad

Jacob,
The Best posts of 2009, looks suspicously like all the posts of 2009. What critera did you use to determine the best posts? or was the whole year that good?

Just curious
