Because of the zucchini, the consistency of this smoothie is fairly muddy similar to using frozen vegetables. I like unfrozen smoothies because they don’t cause brain freeze (if you get brain freeze, immediately put your tongue against the roof of your mouth), and more importantly, in the winter they don’t reduce your core temperature. As for taste, I don’t mind temperature, but then again, I drink warm beer.

  • 2 oranges
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 zucchini (size of a banana)
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 1 cup of water

I start by adding the water, bananas, and oranges. As soon as that has blended, I add the celery whole and I cut up the zucchini  in small pieces. That way my run of the mill blender can handle it.
